- 36 hrs shifts The Physician Assistant (PA) credentialed to work in the Emergency Department will initiate and perform activities in a manner which will extend the services of the Emergency Physician and/or the attending physician caring for emergency patients. In all cases, the PA will act in accordance with their educational level and experience under the direct supervision and responsibility of the emergency or attending physician responsible for the patient
