Lamprey Health Care (LHC) seeks a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with ambulatory health care practice experience to lead our clinical operation. LHC is a learning organization that prides itself on embracing change during this time of health care transition. As New HampshireÂ's oldest community health center we focus on patient and employee engagement across three sites in southeastern NH. LHC is a level 3 recognized medical home with an annual operating budget of $13M, providing primary health care to over 16,000 patients annually. LHC maintains multiple programs including family medicine, pediatrics, OBGYN, behavioral health, and nutrition.
The Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O.) will have a proven track record as a change agent that has successfully managed during transition, and will be an influential leader and a seasoned coach in a value based care environment. Fostering teamwork, the C.O.O. will develop and implement plans for operational systems, processes and personnel assignments to accommodate the growth and strategic planning objectives of the organization while prioritizing the health status of our patients.
Responsibilities focus on the efficient delivery of outpatient medical services, operations management, customer service, quality and excellence, compliance, and facility planning.
Credentials: MasterÂ's degree in public health, MasterÂ's in Nursing, or Business Administration preferred. Equivalent in a health services discipline or related practical experience acceptable. Position requires seven to ten years of progressively responsible managerial experience, including prior experience in senior-level administration in a community based organization. The successful candidate must be familiar with state and federal laws and regulations and be skilled in organizational management with the ability to analyze financial and statistical information. Knowledge of: clinical service level benchmark standards, financial management, marketing, development and community outreach. Being well versed in performance improvement and LEAN management principles is a plus.
