Job Description:
As our Barista, you'll play a key role in our team by bringing your skills and passion for plant-based beverages to our vegan cafe. You'll work with a variety of superfoods and ingredients to create delicious and nutritious drinks, including smoothies, matcha tea, lattes, golden lattes, and a variety of coffee drinks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including traditional coffee beverages as well as specialty vegan drinks.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and make drink recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace at all times.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in making smoothies with superfoods
- Good skills at frothing milk, calibrating espresso
- Basic knowledge and skills in manual brewing (V60, Chemex, Aeropress)
- At least 3 years of experience as a Barista.
- Experience of work in Dubai.
- Knowledge of how to prepare a variety of coffee and vegan drinks.
- Ability to handle equipment, like blenders and espresso machines.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- A passion for vegan and plant-based cuisine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus.
