SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyPosition Overview:
Prepares for and delivers training to end users. Partners with other training staff to design, develop, validate, modify and maintain training content, lesson plans, manuals, self-study modules, presentations and supportive learning tools utilized in training classes. Delivers online or classroom training presentations, demonstrations, workshops and training sessions for end-users and for train-the-trainer participants on a variety of topics and technical application systems, tools and modules. Prepares learning classroom and sets up equipment, seating arrangement, curricula and supplies (maybe even high quality donuts) for training sessions. Solicits post-training feedback via evaluations and surveys, and participates in post-training delivery debriefs to resolve any issues and improve learning. Participates in workflow analysis as it relates to training.$ads={1}
Job Description:This is a work from home role within California.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's: Computer Science, Learning Design, Education, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or related field of study or equivalent education/experience
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated understanding of adult learning concepts.
Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
Use basic English words and phrases to effectively and clearly organize and communicate thoughts, ideas and technical details in a concise manner easily understood by all audiences.
Effective presentation skills with excellent training ability to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.
Encourage individuals either in a one-to-one or small group situation in order to establish rapport and gain the trust of others or to listen perceptively and convey awareness.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
Foster a stimulating and accepting learning environment resulting in leading others to solve complex problems.
Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
Focus on customer service that informs all actions and decisions.
Solid application of adult learning concepts and interpersonal skills designed to effectively manage classes and guide end-users to a formidable understanding of the subject matter.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Range is $37.86 to $56.79 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
