YOUR TEAM:As a Data Scientist, you have a solid understanding of both the business and the technical aspects of Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in relation to digital media business. You will drive the completion of data science initiatives within the established scope, while simultaneously planning for and managing unknown future DS/AI/ML requirements in a dynamic environment.


  • WHAT’S IN FOR YOU:Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business objectives into data science/AI/ML problem statement.
  • Translate data science problem statement into technical specifications in terms of calculations, custom groups, parameters, filtering criteria, aggregations, clusters etc.
  • Work with data engineering team to collect, process, cleanse and verify multivariate data from internal or external (third party sources) systems per the technical specification.
  • Select features, optimize classifiers, conduct statistical analysis, build various data models to identify data patterns/trends using machine learning techniques and predict actionable insights/KPIs.
  • Provide insights through intuitive presentations, interfaces, infographics and visualizations to create data-driven narrative and explain the business representation of the same in a clear manner to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Discover innovative product insights by modelling on consumer watch behavior data, help the business to grow consumer engagement and increase revenue
  • Help segment consumers, predict churn and build recommendation systems
  • Create automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance.
  • Provide ongoing evaluations of machine learning technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives, identify areas of risk, while monitoring the current environment and potential improvement areas.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:4+ years of top-tier Data Science/Machine Learning experience with 7 years of overall Data Analysis experience on cloud Infrastructure (AWS predominantly and GCP preferred) with languages such as R, Python, SQL etc.
  • Excellent understanding of real-world application of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Tree, Random Forests etc.
  • Experience with creating, executing and analyzing complex AB/MVT test constructs in order to test hypotheses
  • Experience with Amazon SageMaker/Tensorflow/Google Cloud AutoML/Keras
  • Experience with Spark Streaming (Databricks) or other data science focused data processing platforms used for real-time big data analytics.
  • Familiarity with other data engineering tools and systems like Snowflake, Airflow, Jenkins, Github etc.
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment (preferably software development) and comfortable navigating conflicting priorities and ambiguous problems.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau.
  • Working knowledge of digital media ecosystem, including how digital video streaming, ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, Log analytics etc. work.
  • Data driven mindset, great communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required and master and/or PHD will be preferred.
