Lighting Shop Sales Assistant [Singapore]


 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers as they enter the shop and provide a warm welcome.
  • Assist customers with their lighting needs, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations.
  • Demonstrate lighting products to customers and explain their features and benefits.
  • Process sales transactions and handle payments.
  • Ensure that the shop is well-stocked, clean, and well-organized.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest lighting products and industry trends in order to provide the best advice to customers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Resolve customer complaints and handle returns or exchanges as needed.
  • Attend training sessions and trade shows to learn about new lighting products and technologies.
  • Assist with shop displays and promotions as needed.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as stock management, inventory control, and cash handling.


Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of lighting products and technology is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
  • Working Time is Tuesday - Sunday (11:30am - 7:30pm)
