Dartmouth-Hitch! cock is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Gyn- Oncologists, in both the inpatient as well as outpatient settings, with priority placed on care facilitation services in the inpatient setting, contributing to the care of Gyn-Oncology patients within the APRN or PA role. Activities related to the position include, though are not limited to the performance of histories and physical exams, assisting with rounds, progress notes, provision of pre-operative and post-operative care, interpretation of data, implementation of therapeutic plans and follow through and consultation. Will be responsible for health education and counseling, integration of care by other providers, appropriate referral, and discharge planning. Opportunities to surgically assist the Gyn-Oncologists in the operating room may be considered for PA! s or APRN's who have completed Surgical First Assist Training.!
We are ideally seeking an APRN or PA with five years of experience, preferably with three of those years in oncology, who can bring that experience and clinical competency to our population of Gyn-Oncology patients.
This individual will hold a faculty rank through The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth at the rank of Instructor.
Academic preparation at the Masters level with a specialty in Oncology is preferred.
Current New Hampshire licensure (or eligibility) is required.
