Coding Manager ICD 10

• Work collaboratively with the Manager of Coding Quality Management and Education to enhance and improve Clinical Documentation Impr! ovement programs by working closely with coders, providers, and other stakeholders.
• Review, on an annual basis or as otherwise identified, all coding updates and works with the Manager of Coding Quality Management and Education to disseminate this information to all coders.
• Provide leadership to direct reports regarding employee evaluation, promotion, issue resolution, disciplinary concerns, and termination.
• Assess professional and facility coding and patient care documentation practices to ensure compliance with pertinent regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure efficient department operation by providing education and support to staff.
• Provide communication and coordination with departments regarding key coding functions

The Coding Operations Manager will provide oversight of the coding functions of all aspects of Clinical Coding Services. This position is responsible for the day to day management of coding production work! ing collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Coding and t! he Manager of Coding Quality Management and Education. The manager is the primary resource person for supervisors, team leads, and coders. Responsibilities also include collaboration with other departments to assure development, promotion and maintenance of quality coding. This position plays a strategic and leadership role in monitoring code assignment by coders of all disciplines according to the interpretation of governmental regulations, coding guidelines and reporting requirements . ….
