Under the administrative leadership of the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director will be responsible for the Company's compliance with all clinical policies, directives, rules, regulations and clinical performance standards and serve as a Company authority on clinical issues. The Medical Director will serve as a medical liaison with the staff, clients and customers.
The Medical Director will oversee the day-to-day management of more 10,000 worldwide medical cases annually. This role includes the practical management of medical cases and coordination of air medical transports, as well as a strong focus on patient care quality, customer communication and satisfaction, and leadership.
Education and Training Required:
Full/unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United Sta! tes.
Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Inter! nal Medicine or Family Practice.
Five years of experience in a clinical setting.
Experience in international medical assistance, air medical transport services, domestic and international healthcare insurance, travel/remote medicine, or cruise line experience would promote additional consideration for this position.
